Christina Necklace

Aqua Pearls in a Triangle drop Design front. All set in Sterling Silver.

Sweet Christina! What a delightfully simple little number this cool aqua pearl necklace is. With little triangles dangling showing peep holes for some negative space for the skin underneath, it will look like lace on the bodice. A perfect necklace which can be worn with blues, aqua, cream and black. Truly a lovely design that is a good start to any young woman’s accessory collection as well as for a bridesmaid. Heavenly!

I wanted to share an image from an old movie where I often find inspiration for a design. I wanted to create a looped pattern around the front of the neckline as you see in the Christina above and saw the basis of the style in the movie Jezel with Bette Davis. Unfortunately it is difficult to see here but the design is almost identical to what I had envisioned. When I think back on it, I must have been inspired by much of my passion for jewellery designing when I first fell in love with old movies.
